How’d the swim platform project go for you ? Not a great summer for me. My PSS dripless shaft seals were spraying water at higher rpms, and were already tightened down to the max. Had boat pulled, replaced both seal assy’s along with cutlass bearings and shaft and prop reconditioning. But still had leak on starboard side. Discovered my motor mounts were loose, and one was missing a bolt in the trans bracket. Waited countless days on mechanic to show up this summer. Then on my last run in late August, I lost the #1 cylinder on the starboard engine (700 hrs). Gonna have it torn apart in Spring. Hopefully it’s not catastrophic.
Also, found my starboard w/s wiper was disconnected at the switch (????). Ok. Now.

I just purchased a swim platform, arriving next week (I hope). I’ll let you know how it goes! My wipers don’t work either… so if you learn something, please share!

Hi ASLII, I just bought the boat at end of 2021 season. Looking forward to spend a few weeks getting her ready for summer. I’ve got a few drainage issues to fix in the bilge, new carpeting ordered, and a port light that needs replaced. I also have an inoperable port side windshield wiper, but it looks a little difficult to access. I’ve contemplated the addition of a swim platform, but figured I’d give it until after a bit more use before going down that road.

Hi CapPap, I have same boat. Please share any scoop you find (parts, etc and I'll do same. Looks great). Currently I'm trying to properly measure the stern curve to order a swim platform. Easier said than done.
