Default working on the boat..

Got to the boat this afternoon...I was determined to have my isenglass repaired...called leta's top shop in arlington and asked if they will replace the glass and also do some mods to my back panels...sure nuff....now here's the kicker...I got the panels off and on the back panels..i have screens ..the kind you have in your home type ..which have rotted and is just coming apart..looks aweful......got to leta's and she's going to replace my screen with isenglass...reinforce the snaps and replace those ..then fix a messed up zipper....
the fronts get 30 mil isenglass replacing the old stuff that is nasty...fronts are 60 bucks...20 bucks per panel..3 panels...the back 2 panels being rebuilt and reinforced...75 bucks.....got it to leta's this afternoon and will have it done tomorrow afternoon.....

then I pulled the CO detectors on my boat....they have a tendancy to go off while underway..every time I even act like I'm going to start the engine...they will go off...then they start talking to each other..one beeps and then the other......very irritating since they go off everytime and is sooooo sensitive ...so....I went to radio shack and bought 2 spst switches....came home and took them apart to install the switches...now I can shut them off with the switch and once docked..I'll turn them on again to make sure we're safe while having a weekend on the boat......

I also put a tarp over the boat until I get my front and rear panels back from leta's topshop....when I went there...she had 3 boats there working on them...and my stuff along with god knows what other work they have back logged......

can't wait to get my panels back tomorrow.....

here's to ya!!.....definitely ..if you need work done...give leta's top shop a call.....360-435-3067......I'm not getting anything from them for thier endorsements...but they are really good to work with....I'll let you know how they turn out.....
