2001 Maxum 2700 SCR. I am looking to add a windlass to my boat. I do have an anchor locker, plow anchor, and the boat is factory wired for a windlass. I am looking for recommendations on what would be a good value and good fit. What type windlass did the factory install? Is there a better option available now? We are located in Kentucky fresh water lake. I’ll need to purchase about a 200ft of rope.
Lewmar 700 G would be an excellent choice. I had one installed on my 2400 SCR 10 yrs. ago and works great. Have seen them on the net for around $600.00
