I have a chance to get my hands on a used Automatic Windlass Model: CFD. It says its for a 32' to 42' so it will handle my little 24' SCR. I'm just not sure how I would install it?

I installed a windlass on my previous boat it was great, it made my job a lot easier specially if you can use it from the helm, I did the lewmar v700, when I installed it, my boat was already reinforced with extra wood and fiberglass on the spot that I picked to install it, make sure you put a backing plate or reinforce the fiberglass on the location where you mount it. good luck, put some pictures when you finish the project.
