Exclamation windlass anchor foot Buttons not Working. Maybe a fuse??

Hi Guys,

I own a 2002 Maxum 2500 SCR, so far im very happy with it. but im going crazy with this issue.

The Windlass Anchor system is working perfectly when is activated from the helm switch. but when i try to use it from the step buttons from the bow of the boat is not working. I looked over the owners manual and there is a fuse for the step buttons.

So my question is if any one knows where this fuse maybe located. I cant find it anywhere.

Thank You

Nick

Welcome aboard

I don’t know where the fuse is located but if you use a volt meter to see if there is voltage at the foot switch will tell you if the fuse may be blown or not. Also do neither foot switch work or just one? If just one the fuse is good.

Have you tried tracing the wires to see if you can find it? I believe the fuse is typically near the battery switch. Look at the color/size of the positive wire then look for the same near the switch.
