Default Why is Maxum?

Always out of or discontinuing parts that I need for my boat? I have a 1997 2800 SCR and have tried ordering the jumpseat for the back of the boat, which they dont make any longer and now just tried to order the rubber seals that go around the windshield at the bottom (covers the screws) and they dont make that any more either.

Any suggestions on where I can find these parts?

Thanks.

When you type in Maxum on boatfix in the search it has nothing. Only two parts for bayliner.

Through a Maxum dealer directly. They stated they no longer make the part.

Default part number

Not to show how dumb I am...but did they look up the part you need with the old part number from the parts book or the new number they are using for older parts?
