We've been getting a mess of newbies to our little corner of the internet...so..since nobody likes to put in their signature where they are at..
I thought I'd pose this question..

so..tell us where your at and a little about your area..

Re: Where is Everybody??
I am up in Northern Michigan, live on an awesome all sports lake. Lake Huron is a couple miles a way and that offers a completely different boating experience. Our season is very short we are still waiting for it to start todays high is only going to be 60F ( 15C).
Great advice on this site. I put smart tabs on my 1800 sr3 the other day and am looking forward to seeing the difference they make. Also looking into a wake board Pylon and a new prop lots of informaton on those as well here.
Good job seapuppy on keeping the site going.

Re: Where is Everybody??
I'm from Halifax Nova Scotia. For those unfamiliar, Halifax is on Canada's East Coast. This is my 1st true summer to boating. I just got my boat late Sept of last year and only had it in for a month. Still not in the water, but soon. I will be boating in salt water, lots of coastal inlets in this area. Perhaps I'll run into "Stressleave" who is also from this neck of the woods.

Re: Where is Everybody??
Hey Dubble Dippin
We have friends at DYC and we will keep an eye out for you when we visit.
We trailer our boat and spend most of our time at Grand Lake, It's a big lake with good Bass fishin and swimming. We also like to boat in Mahone Bay it has so many coves and islands to explore.
We are planning to leave for an overnighter at the lake tonight, It will be our first trip out this season.
Cheers
Paul

Re: Where is Everybody??
I am in Oshkosh Wisconsin right on lake Winnebago, our season is short also but not as short as northern MI, Our lake is 277 square miles 26 miles long and 14 ish wide. The biggest problem is that at the deepest part it is 25 feet deep. There are many great marina's and sand bars to hang out at. My house is about two miles from the boat launch I use. I have been out three times so far this season.

Any pictures guys?
I live in Nottingham UK which is roughly 80 miles from the coast and there's hardly any lakes that will let you use a powerboat on them
Lots of canals and rivers though

From Québec, Canada. Hang around lakes and rivers near Montréal. Sometimes drive to the Richelieu river and do boating on Lake Champlain.

Re: Where is Everybody??
Good Question!
I'm in North Idaho, about 2 miles off the WA/ID stateline- we live close to the spokane river system and do much of our boating on Lake Coeur d' Alene in Idaho. Great lake, full of coves, camping, fishing and nature...The river is raging at the moment with lots of debris, hoping that Avista closes a couple gates on the damn pretty soon! Our boating season is getting shorter due to record snowfall last winter.

Re: Where is Everybody??
I live on the coast in Jersey Marine, South Wales, UK.
Usually launch at Mumbles:
http://maps.google.co.uk/?ie=UTF8&ll=51 ... 52435&z=13
Just been on a 2 day RYA Intermediate Powerboat course in North Wales, and also the Marine Radio Operators Course - (to get the Marine Operators license)
I did the Level 2 Powerboat a couple of years ago, this time water was a bit more lumpy .... did some serious high speed handling in pretty rough weather conditions ... blew up to a Gale Force 8 in the end ... and as we finished the paperwork on the course instructor's pager went off ... and he rushed next door to the Life Boat .... interesting addition to the course, not only to be alongside the lifeboat when it launched, but also to know we had been out handling the boat at speed in this ... safely and under control.

Re: Where is Everybody??
Wow Seapuppy! That 340 is a good looking boat. I saw your old Maxum up on lakeunionsearay.com . almost depressing that I paid around that for my 2400 SE and could have waited and grabbed such a nice 2700
Here's a link to some pictures taking my Grandma on a boat ride around Lake Union:

Hitch up & come down to Swansea for a wekend ... as much water as you need, and no speed limits.

Re: Where is Everybody??
I live in Marysville, WA near SeaPuppy.
I came aboard this site to assist a local boater. I'm a life long SeaRay owner but everyone knows how similar the Brunswick boats are so I'm sure we can be good resources for each other. I also belong to the Baylinerowners.org, iboatnw.com and clubsearay.com forums.
