Question Water Pump Switch

I am a brand new owner of a 3500 scr. No instructions on how to do anything so I am learning on my own. Cannot locate the water pump switch and there does not seem to be any documentation about it. Any help?

Welcome.
It should be near the galley sink, red switch.

Boating has a steep learning curve. The manuals are really a collection of documentation by the third party vendors. Engines, transmissions, outdrives, trim tabs, head, A/C, stove, all have their own documentation.

The boat manual is generic. There are really only 2. One for all sport boats and one for all cruisers.

This is why Forums are so popular. You can also ask neighbors on the dock. When you own a boat that size you either learn to be plumber, electrician and basic mechanic, or you make sure your fountain pen is full of ink and you have a new book of checks in your checkbook.

I was trying to be polite with the situation. To spend that amount of hard earned money on something and not have a clue how to operate it. Wow ! The boating industry shames us all! Where was the PO or the marina or even a surveyor with this buyer. If you bought a plane, a manual, you get manuals, but with a boat you get a thinly written outline of vagueness if any to guide an owner. Breach baby I wish you nothing but the best with you and your new 3500. Hope you get all the info you need from us.

I'm done venting....

You are going to need to match yours up. Try a search “red illuminated rocker switch”
