I have 2001 4600 SCB and for the first time have tried to connect pressurized fresh water line through connection on the right side of platform. No result . I have checked for any valf but could not locate. Any body knows how to connect to shore line ?

Mine has a shutoff valve on the water bypass itself. Mine is on the hose connector on the outside of the boat. It has a 1/4 turn valve. I would expect your's would as well. parrallel to the hose is ON and perpendicular to the hose is OFF. Personally I don't use anything that dumps water inside of the boat. All you need is ANY connector to fail and it is equivalent to opening your engine hatch, sticking a garden hose in it, turning on the water and walking away.

I use mine all the time...unfortunately it doesn't have a valve in my engine bay...i'd start looking for a 1/4turn valve inside the engine bay that is connected to the freshwater supply...

and welcome to the zoo..

Thank you for the advise. I could not spare a time to go my boat, you know business these days. Planning during August and will search for the valve. I think me and my wife consuming more water and the tank needs to be filled at least every third day. Therefore, while docking, I need shore connection. However, I do not remember any valve on the hose connector, may I kindly request you to send a picture ?
Best Regards, Nice Cruising.
