Default Ventilation grill broken

Hello Maxum Community

Need your help replacing, buying or repairing my engine ventilation grille!

I have a Maxum 2400SCR from 2000.

During transport to the winter storage, the warehouse operator pushed my rear into the bow of my backer, breaking the plastic ventilation grille.

He thinks he can repair it, but the plastic is so brittle that even with the slightest touch, a small particle breaks off again.

Does anyone have an idea ????

Well welcome aboard and that's a bummer! Have you called your insurance agent about this ? They might know of a professional that can fix it no problem . I would be looking for a fiberglass repairman for this.

Good luck

Roger

Years ago I knew someone with the same problem, he found a local plastic shop that was able to make a new one.

local fabricator or fiberglass person. They might be able to make a mold from the broken one, then lay up a new piece.
