Tugboat Races

Decided to cruise down to Olympia to watch the tugboat races.
Left on Sat morning and got back last night, ran into wind, rain and sun.
Traveled approximately 140 nautical miles from our slip in Lake Washington to Olympia and back. Stopped in Des Moines going both ways for fuel.
The boat ran great and had a wonderful time!

I missed it! Hell, I didn't even know they still held the tugboat races!!! I watched them years ago, but got out of the habit.

They usually have a race in Elliot Bay in May as well, but they did not happen this year due to the waterfront renovation going on. Hopefully next year.
