Trim Up Not Working on Bravo II
The drive trim up switch on my Bravo II outdrive does not work, the trailer button does cause the drive to trim up and the down switch works. From reading various sources of information it could be the trim limit switch needs to be replaced. Upon inspection the wire going to the trim limit switch has a bare spot rubbed in the insulation; this has taken 14 years to develop and could be the problem.
If I need to replace the limit switch on the drive; is there any way to do this without removal of the drive and bell housing?
Any advise would be appreciated.
