Default Transom Boarding Ladder

I have to replace a badly bent transom boarding ladder on my MAXUM 3700 SCR. Is their anything I need to look out for besides removing the two stop pins, sliding out the ladder and replacing it with the new one? Please advise. Have a great weekend out on the water.

John...welcome to the zoo...

I'm positive if your not messing with the mounts that are bedded to the swim step...and all your doing is pulling the pins...that's all you need to do....

Default Transom Boarding Ladder

That's what I thought. I just wanted a second opinon from somebody who has done it before. I just bought the boat a few months ago at it seems I learn something new everytime a take the boat out or work on it. I love it all the same.

Default Transom Boarding Ladder

I just picked up my new ladder from Boat and Motor Superstore, Palm Harbor, FL. I open the boat to find out that to replace the ladder you have to take off and replace the entire stainless bracket mounts. The retaining pins do not come off for replacing the ladder. It shouldn't be that hard to take off the brackets. I'll let everyone know soon! I plan on taking on the project on Thursday afternoon.
