The original trailer would have been a Karavan UST-6650-78-TB-12. With a carrying load capacity of 6650lbs., tandem brakes, a 3200lbs winch, a frame width of 78"and ST225/75D15 tires.

Thanks for the info. I had found one but the ust # was 5000 instead of 6650 which I will guess to be the load capacity. DO you think that would work for a 2400 as it weighs only 4800lbs? Or would that be cutting it to close?

The UST-5000 was used for the 2200SR3 in 2005. I think you need a trailer rated for your boat. However, many times the only difference is the tires. Check the tires on that trailer. They are probably ST185/80D13. If that trailer has tandem brakes and is the correct size you may be able to switch the tires to ST225/75D15 tires and then have the higher capacity.
