Default Trailer VIN decal/plate unreadable

Hello everyone. So a question for you all. My new to me boat and trailer, the trailer VIN and information decal has been damaged somehow along the way. Being I was told the original factory that built the trailer tfor he Maxum is now out of business, how does a person go about getting a new replacement decal or a letter proving it is what it is ? I have the title from the original owner, but still would like all my bases covered incase I ever sell the unit. Anyone ever face this ?? How did you remedy the situation ? Thanks everyone for taking the time to read this, hopefully someone can help. You all have a great month of November !

Don't know where you are at, but I just stamped mine with metal stamps on the frame!

Welcome aboard HighRPM!!

Trailer registration requirements vary by jurisdiction. We couldn't possibly begin to assist you without knowing where the trailer will be registered.

Are you in the US? If so, what state?

Are you in another country? IF so, what local jurisdiction handles registration of boat trailers?
