Default Through Hull Fittings

I'm thinking about replacing the above waterline through hull fittings (e.g. A/C Discharge, sink discharges, Bilge Pump Discharges, deck drain discharage, etc). It looks like the nylon they used are very chalky and pitted. I've been told they get very brittle and I was advised to consider changing them.

I'm not crazy about the green oxidation of bronze. I'm leaning towards stainless steel.

Do I have to tie ss throughulls into the bonding system? My broze seacocks are.

not really if they are above the water waterline....mine aren't....it's below that they become an anode for corrosion if not bonded correctly.....so..above...do it...use stainless as you are thinking about it..

Makes sense. Thanks SP. Now all that's left is crawling into the nether regions. Are there any tools better than a deck key for working these in/out on the outboard side? I get no leverage with the deck key.
