Just a quick thankyou to maxum,in europe and the uk any boat that is shipped here or sold here after june 1998 has to have a ce plate or be compliant to the recreational craft directive,basically it is a load of boll+cks but if your boat does not comply you cannot legally sell it,my boat was exported to the uk in 1999 and after talking to maxum i was told that it is a ce manufactured boat,but unfortunately the broker(knob head) i bought it from has lost all the paperwork regarding the boats history from me paying the deposit to taking over ownership.i have been intouch with maxum and have received a copy ce plate that has to be attached to the hull at the helm which states loading capacatiy and ce compliance they have also given me the name of the original importer dealship in the uk who are sending me copies of original paper work so this boat can be proved legal
so i would like to thank maxum for their assistance in this matter and for manufacturing such a nice boat
and putting my mind at rest
