I added it up and we did 36 days on Lake Powell last year.... I hope to get up there more this year but that 4 letter word 'work' may get in the way

Phillbo ...I hear your pain!! You never get enough boating.

I consulted Dr. Retired and he helped me out. He called Nurse Screw Work and got me the treatment I needed.

No work for me....... just take one pension pill every day of the year. Cures all work related stress.

I look at the water marks on the walls... there has been a jet ski through there recently.. I just go real slow and poke my nose around the bend if not familiar with the canyon. Slow is the key.. So you can back out if need be to a point where the canyon is just wider than your boat is long

Do you have twins? They make it a lot easier... I sometimes wish I did except during the annual in the spring

No7 how many years have you been on these waters and how many props have you lost? I am sure by now you have learned how to read the waters pretty well.

Started boating there with my family in the early 70's.

To date--the knicked/dinged/lost prop count stands at zero(knocks on wood)

There are many opportunities to lose props, here is one.

First pic about 4 weeks ago

Second pic last week.

That's quite a change in the water level in 2 weeks, someone open the dam?

I'm knocking wood as well. In the same boat as #7. I started going to powell as a kid in the mid '70 as well and have never dinged a prop.

Hey Rick love the name very fitting for you.
