Martin State Airport is also home to the National Guard so you can see A10's flying around plus shock tramua helocopters, even a B17 as there is a museum there.

May do just that. Like me, wife has been itching to do some boating on the bay again, she almost talked me into trailering the tub up there. She definitely misses the smell of salt water.

We're down near Quantico, and not far from (Reagan) National Airport. As such we see some interesting things in the air from time to time. No A10's though!

This thread is getting a little ridiculous. Do you have a way to post Tapatalk pictures to the Gallery instead of to a never ending run on thread?

Shrew, never really tried to post to a gallery. Posting pics from tapatalk is just so easy. I was hoping the group liked a continual thread with photos?!? Some of the conversation could be handled via PM's but I don't even mind the guys talking back and forth about the photos. I wish there was more participation, even photos that are not boating specific. That is why I started this under "general". So....what's the consensus......should this be deleted???

Whatever is done is Ok by me but I enjoy the pictures and don't want them to stop being posted. Yea I guess we kind of went off a little bit but the picture are there to enjoy and provoke some feedback.

Tapatalk is a "smartphone" app the converts forums into easier viewing/navigating on the phone. The nice feature is, snap a pic and it can be posted very easily...... Along time ago I tried to build a photo album, but with the resizing, moving, uploading.....geez....seemed too much of a hassle. I view most of the forums I follow on a regular web browser....post pics thru tapatalk.....

I wasn't quite sure what Shrew's message was about; conversations about the pictures or that this thread will never end and run on as more pictures keep getting posted. I think it was the latter, hence his comment about using the gallery.

Have to concur. I see no harm whatsoever with an on-going thread filled with pictures and attendent comments. Isn't materially different than the "Newbies...." thread, really, except that one is a sticky.

Adds to the community spirit of the forum.
