Default steeringpower leaks

Hi guys, been some time.

I ran into a problem.. Steering was very slugish. Turned out resevoir was completely dry.

But after refill its empty in a day again.

not good obviously.

i noticed that the hydrolic hose behind the motor is very oily so i guess thats were it leaks.

Are these hoses readilly available? what would they cost aprox? (what searchword should i type in google for these hoses to find?)
If found and ordered, is it easy replacing them or should it be done by a skilled grease monkey only?

Its a 1993 maxum 2300SCR with a Merc 4.3LX Gasoline block and alpha one gen 2 taildrive.

Thx!

If you have the engine serial number you can look up parts for the engine and select power steering to find the hoses. Easy to replace with a open ended wrench. The pressure hose will go from the pump to the cooler and the return hose from the assist cylinder to the pump. Have you confirmed it’s not the pump that’s leaking?
