gotta be careful how you mount those sub woofers and when you play them...
we were tied up in canada last yr watching the "24" series videos..I have my subwoofer under a seat in the midberth...suddenly we heard this pounding on the side of the boat...thought someone was trying to break in...turns out the sub was bouncing the sounds off the bottom and into this poor old couples blow boat ..they thought they were under fire when jack baur had opened up in a gun fight !!!!...scared the heck out of them.....

LOL, I knew that had to be an older photo - it's got to be darn cold up there now!

Nice boat, looking forward to a pic of it with the new cosmetics.

Hey Maumus2400. Is that a swim step extension? Looks great. Can you tell me a little about it?

Hi Nimh,

Sure thing. I ordered it from http://swimplatforms.com/ and had it installed by Olympic Boat Center back in Fall 2007. I'm sure I could have installed it myself but it was a larger project than I wanted to tackle at the time. It's very sturdy and IMO looks like something Maxum could have added.

It has it's own swim ladder on the port side so the stock one on the starboard comes off.

Cheers,
-Greg

Thanks for the link Greg - that very well may be the next mod on our boat. Doing the blackwater pumpout in choppy water in the Port of Everett channel while balanced on the little stock swim step, in a word, stinks.

Ta-Da! Here she is, my version of the Ultimate Maxum, the 3300SCR, the largest sterndrive cruiser Max ever made (or ever will for that matter, now that they threw in the towel and ceased production). This is my second Maxum. The first was at the other end of the spectrum of the Sun Cruiser Line, a 2300SCR. A great little cruiser but what a difference 10' of length and 3 more feet of beam can make.

Enjoy your boat every chance you get! Jeff- Captain of Bella Sera
