Hey bud, I just bought a 2001, 3300 SCR over the summer and was wondering how you like yours. Mine only has twin 5.7's in it. I just reproped with SS 8.5" 19P. I lost a litytle on the top end speed thats down to about 38-39 WOT but it feels so much stronger. Comes out of the water on to plane in about 20 seconds. What realy cought my interest is you mentioned it was an Ebay deal. I'm not shy to say, I got mine at a repo yard for $30K. Do you keep yours on a trailer? I planned on trailering mine but after hearing of the trouble with the wide load I decided to not buy a trailer and so I keep it in the water.

Here's a pic of my 1800 SR. It has been out of the water a few years now. Have a new engine ready to install as we didn't winterise it properly.

Well Cobra thanks for that picture. Not winterizing your engine properly can cost you big bucks somtimes. Hope your boating season is a good one this year.

Where do you boat in Ireland?

That would be too cool to find out and maybe with more pictures.

Thanks

Roger

I boat in Lough Erne just over the border in Northern Ireland. Shallow water which is easily warmed in our crappy climate:-)

I thought it was the one out by New Haven or Big Water?

I'm not familiar with church row.. never go in to town.

Priceless. Hats off to the man for being 87 and STILL able to get out on the boat and enjoy.
