Default Shore Power

Hi all. 2007 Maxum 2600SE. So you keep the battery selector in “off” position when shore power is connected and boat is sitting at marina not in use? The only things I have on are the shore power 1 & 2 and battery charger breakers as well as both aft and forward bilge pumps. Any issues anyone foresee? I have read. number of posts in which people debate whether to leave in off or on 1, 2 or 1&2 selectors.

Never leave it in the both position as this leaves the possibility that both batteries can be discharged if you accidentally leave something on. I turn it off on my boat. The bilge pump float switches are directly wired to the batteries so they will still operate if needed.
