Default seapuppy you know everything......so tell me......

seapup i read your message on BOC forum about the bayliner 340 wich they do'nt produce anymore in 2010........so i thought, well let's take a look at bayliner.com.........

i clicked on cuddy's, and to my suprise i saw that the bayliner 802 cuddy is exact the same (even the picture with the 3 woman inside is the same) boat as the maxum 2400sc3. as you take a good look you can see on the picture that they faded away the word maxum on the hull.....(the 702 bayliner is the maxum 2100 sc3 so they toke over 2 hulls)

so tell me what's happening in boating land. did bayliner bought the malls of the hulls of maxum.......i am totally confused.........

greatz, ed

US Marine manufactures both bayliner and maxum at the same plants...the hulls are pretty much the same except for the hardware and some slight design changes..
the boats are quite similar due to some outside changes ..ie maxum lettering....higher quality fittings, gauges and other parts..engine/drives/faucets/ counter tops/etc.....
so..overall almost every boat is about the same..some different stuff ..but running gear is usually one of two types..mercruiser or volvo penta....

hope this helps answer your questions..

Question

Are there any other Maxum hulls that Bayliner is using?
