Default Rub Rail

The boat ('06 1800 SR3) got slammed into the dock at the launch ramp the other day, and part of the rub rail got detached from the boat. Not a huge section, it isn't hanging off, but the attaching screws got sheared off.
Anyone know what is used there, is it just a standard SS screw? Looking at the videos, seems simple enough to plug old holes with sealant, and drill new holes.
Anything more than that going on here? Thanks.

No, not standard stainless. The box stores don't typically carry 316 marine grade stainless. They carry a lower grade stainless which will corrode much more quickly. Corrosion will lead to rust streaks and future failure.

A lot of Ace Hardwares along the coast (at least in new england) carry both grades. West Marine carries 316 stainless.

I got screws from local marine shop. They should do it. Thx for the info, I wouldn't have realized.
Found out factory uses a pretty light (aluminum?) rivet, which just sheared off.
