Default RPM Gauge!!!!

Whats going on everyone, i got a 2002 1800 sr with a 3.0 and it’s got a 6,000 rpm gauge and no hour meter on the boat at all and was looking to put one on and found the matching RPM gauge with a hour meter built into it but its a 7,000 rpm gauge if i install this will the RPM’s now be inaccurate or i should have no problems at all???? Thank for the help!!!

Shouldn’t be a problem at all. Just because the ranger is higher has nothing to do with its accuracy. Your engine is only rated for about 4800 max WOT.

You should be ok as long as it’s for the same number of cylinders or has a selector you can set to match yours.
