Default rope lighting in galley of 2700 scr

the rope lights went out under the step in the v-berth section of my 2700 scr. Does anyone know how to replace them? I looked on the maxum boats website and they don't even list them or a part #. Any help on what other website is available or a part #. Thanks.

Is it literally just rope light? if so it just runs off a standard 12v connection with a power and ground. you can buy it by the metre off the internet - hit google and find cheapest place

It'll be an easy fix so long as you can remove and re-install it without ripping your interior apart too much (if at all).

Default rope lights

thanks for the info. i found the rope lights through harbor marine in everett, wa. they can order them for me through abi lighting. they do comein 1 meter lengths and you can get the connectors and brackets separately if necessary.
as for me, i have owned this maxum 2700scr for 5 yrs. it's our second boat. we have it stored at dagmars marina in marysville/everett. my husband and i have been boaters for about 11 yrs. and love it.
i will enjoy being part of this group as we do have questions about our boat from time to time. my husband does most of the work on our boat mechanically and has learned a lot.
possibly he can help someone when they need it.

Were those rope lights original from the factory, or added on? I recently bought an '03 2700 and never noticed any rope lights. Sounds like a good idea though.
