Default Replacing the anchor pulpit and emptying the potty?

Good evening all. I purchased a 1993 Maxum 2300 SCR last weekend. Other than some damage to the anchor pulpit (I think that's what you call it), I got a gem of a boat! I think it's possible to replace that short deck on the bow that the anchor rolls up into. It looks like it unbolts from the hull. I do have a couple of questions though. If replacement is possible, where do I find one? Secondly, how on earth do you empty the potty?? Thanks in advance for any help that you could give.

Welcome aboard

If you search the WEB you can find bolt on anchor pulpits. Trick will be finding a close match.

Regarding the potty if it’s a port a pot you have to remove it to empty although some are plumbed to a holding tank. Do you have a deck plate labeled waste? If so you go to a pump out station to suck out the waste.

At the risk of getting kicked in the teeth.......

If you search for "Bow Roller" you might get better search results. The pulpit is the proptrusion, frequently fiberglass. The Bow Roller is the metal device bolted to the pulpit with the roller which holds the anchor. Some bow rollers are simply bolted to the bow with no pulpit at all.

Or.....maybe it is the pulpit that needs to be replaced. That would be a much trickier project.

I think the 2300 has a porta poti that you need to lift out and dump into a dump station.

Thats how my old '97 2300 SC was configured. I never used it and it was one of the main reasons I upgraded to my cruiser. A fully functional head and a cabin I can stand up in (hard to find when you are 6'4" tall ).
