Repairs to Navigator

Hi all,
The Raymarine Apelco DXL 6350 Loran C Navigator that came with the boat i bought recently, appears to be faulty. Every time i switch it on the display comes on ok but error appears on the screen as well.
If i fiddle through it it will clear for a time then comes back on. I do not know enough about using it at the moment ( have just downloaded the Manual) but to me i do not think it is working correctly.
My question is has anyone had there's repaired or can anyone recommend were i can send it for repair. as i live in Turkey the UK, Europe, would be my 1st choice, but do not mind if i have to send to the USA.

I would start by checking al the wiring connections for corrosion, like the fuse holder and the ground hookup. It could be just that simple.
