Default Removing letters from old boat

Greetings all, we have an old 1997 Maxum ski boat. The boat was my parents and had been sitting idle for awhile. Boat is running great but looks a little dumpy. Was wanting to take off the plastic Maxum letters and replace them. Does anybody know of any good ways to get these removed?

I believe they were installed using double sided tape. So a tool like very thin guitar string should do the job.

If those are standard letters and you don't need them I would be glad to take them off your hands.

Yes they are attached with a double sided tape, be careful not to scratch the gelcoat. You'll need to remove the adhesive with acetone or goo be gone.
