Refrigerator snow
I have a 2002 3300SCR. The refrigerator works but gets a build up of like snow after about 5 days. I checked the seals and they all seem OK. I'm thinking maybe just a little low on Freon and not getting cold enouph to ice up or get cold.. Any idea's

Low freon will cause the external coil to ice up.
You said the seals are good but how frequently is the door opened? I think this is freezing air moisture.

I hardly open doors. Even put snap strap on door to keep it closed. After about 5-6 days, I open and freezer is full of snow, not ice. Of course there is ice under the snow.

Interesting, I wonder if there is an air leak somewhere else.

I have it set on minimum after I thawed it out5 days ago. There is ice coating the freezer coil, but it feels like a snow. But its been cooler weather and it doesn't have to run much. I have it empty any way. Still think it may be a little low ,on Freon. Don't think there is enough to make the ice hard and freezing.

May be noted that, since these refrigerators don't have an internal fan, they rely on overall thermal mass to distribute the cold, and not airflow.
Translation, they aren't designed to run empty. Try stuffing it with water bottles and see if the behavior changes.

I found the freezer door latch was broke and didn't close all the way. Rep[laced and hopefully it will be alright. Won't know til spring. Winterized and shrunk wrap already. Had to pull early this year
