rear bench seat

Hello I purchased my 2001 2500scr 1 year ago.When I lift up the engine hatch the bench seat lifts up with the hatch.I would like to know if the bench can be lowered down to give more space to maneuver around.Any answers and instructions would be appreciated.Cheers

Welcome aboard.

Since the port side of the seat rests on the post side glass support simply removing the starboard side seat leg will not all it to drop down.

I see no way around this.
