Rear 46 ltd suports

Dose any one know why on some 46' SCB ltd edition have rear supports on the bridge over hang at the rear of the cockpit . And some don't

It might be that they were added for the extra weight when maxum started offering the hardtop between 2000 and 2002 i think. hope this helps

That is interesting. I even found two examples from 2001, one had the supports and one did not. That would be an odd 'option'. I couldn't find any models later than 2001 with the supports in place. Other manufactures don't use them either. I wonder if Maxum abandoned the extra hardware for cost savings at some point.

That would be my guess. I have only seen those rear deck supports on a couple 4600 that were 2001, with the hardtop
