Default Rainwater intrusion into aft cabin area

I have a 2000 2800 SCR that I have owned since 2017. The boat is in a slip year round. I have never experienced any water issues until this past winter. Getting water in the aft cabin area coming into the sleeping area from the port side cupboard. I cannot tell if it is coming down the side or if it is coming from the engine compartment. I plan on doing a water test to see if I can find the spot, but for now it is difficult to tell. The rub rail is still decent and I had all of our canvass replaced in 2021.

In the past, our boat was in a slip that faced the south. All of our weather comes from the south here. However, this past August, we moved to a new marina and now have our boat facing north. This exposes our stern and port to the weather now. I have also noticed more water in the forward and aft bilge areas after storms as well. I guess my question is, is there more opportunity for rainwater to enter with the stern more exposed?

Just checking to see if anyone has experienced this issue, and any suggestions on how to correct is greatly appreciated…

Thank you!

On my 2400 there is a drain in a step down well as you enter the cabin and it’s above the forward port side of the midberth ceiling.

Ah, I’ll have a look, so you are thinking that drain might be clogged or leaking?

Thank you!
