Default rain water leaking in

I need a little help please We have a 96 2300sr and just had the engine rebuilt 7.4 mercruiser when it rains the rain water seeps in on the engine cover getting water on my manifold can any one give me some suggestions on this please

Welcome aboard

Do you have a boat cover for when not in use?
Have you used a hose to wet one area at a time to see where water is getting in at?

The deck hatches should have drains in them. There should also be seals. Make sure the drains in the deck hatch are draining properly. Make sure there is a gasket around the lip where the deck hatch sits.
