Questions about a 2003 Maxum 3500

Hi,
I'll be looking at a 2003 3500 shortly. I have specific questions I hope I can get answers for before taking a long trip to see the boat.
First of all for the 2003 model year is the 3500 an SCR or an SY? What's the difference between the two?
What's the length overall with the extended swim platform? I'm seeing the lengths all over the place from 35' to 38' in advertisements for that model. My
slip where I'm currently at can fit up to 37' but that's pushing it.
What's the head room in the cabin?
Does anyone out there have the 6.2 liter engines in this model? I'm curious to see if anyone with this model/engine option
feels it's underpowered?
