I have e sca 41 and have toulbe pumping head out. Seems like suction is not functioning properly, we have to hold flush pedal down to work properly, any thoughts?

Agreed. It sounds like you have a clogged vent line. If it functions properly when you hold the flush pedal down, then that is how you're introducing air to the system. See if there is an inline vent filter installed. This sometimes happens if the holding tak is overfilled and fills the filter with fluid. Sometimes a pest, like bee/wasps make a nest in the line.
