Talking Puget Sound rendezvous dates and locations

ok..since we have put up a group grope for maxum users...I'll set up a few dates for it to happen and suggestions on where to steam too...the most popular place and time wins....these are not in any order..just what pops into my 2 braincells

Mid sound locations:
1) Bremerton marina = 2
2)Port Orchard
3)Poulsbo
4)Eagle Harbor

North Sound:
1)Everett marina
2)Everett marina 12th St basin
3)Port Ludlow = 1
4)Pleasant Harbor

San Juan Islands:
1) Roche Harbor
2) Blakely island Marina
3)Friday Harbor
4)Lopez island

Weekend Dates:
1)july 17,2010
2)july 24, 2010 = 2
3)aug 4, 2010
4)aug 18, 2010

as you can see..these are some popular places to go too...I thought these areas would be good since they have restaurants, some entertainment and calm waters usually...I chose about 4 places in each catagory so we aren't locked in.......and dates are sorta random so that we have several options so this doesn't interfere with vacation plans....
vote for your choices...the most popular wins.....

I'll call and make reservations for the number of boaters that confirm that they are going to show up...hopefully to get all of us in the same dock...

That's quite a menu of places! Decisions decisions.

As for the date: the weekend of July 24 sounds great to us.

Location: I'm a little hard pressed to make a run to the deep San Juans for a night or two, but we could always extend the weekend and stay longer. Pleasant Harbor is hosting the Bellevue Yacht club meet that weekend, so that might be out... Bremerton does sound interesting - Friday night boardwalk concert, "movie on the roof" and possibly tour a Navy ship. Port Orchard looks like fun too as a backup.

Thanks SP for the ideas.

Default rendezvous

Mid or North Sound locations sound good. Havent been to most of them.
As for dates, the 24th looks good.

Okay, question.....and be honest. As I stated at the start of this thread, we are waiting for the arrival of our second baby boy. We have a 2 1/2 year old that LOVES boating already. The questions is.......would it bother anyone if we brought them with us? Yes or no, nor worries. I know that not everybody enjoys being around little tikes, and the last thing we want to do is bother folks as they are trying to relax on the water. Jack, our 2 year old, gets us up early, around 7, and with a new baby, I am sure that there will be a few mid night feedings that may begin with some crying. So seriously, no offense taken. I just dont want to show up with the kiddos and annoy anyone.

Thanks all!

Rich

no problem for me.......but since we don't have kids...we'll just feed them to the dogs!!...I'm sure they will be hungry by then....
ok..just kidding...boating is a family thing...if you think mom will want to do it...we're good....of course my wife may freak........

so..now you gotta pick a place to go too...

You already have my vote. I am in for the weekend of the 24th at Port Ludlow. Anybody else?
If not, Seapuppy, go ahead and cancel, and maybe we can just plan on hooking up with you on the water.

Wait! Wait!! We just got back from our little outing to the San Juans... just catching up with posts.

Port Ludlow on the 24th looks to work for us too. Any other PacNW'ers interested?

Pics from the weekend.

The welcoming committee.

Our Maxum sitting next to Seapuppy's Wild Whim. I really have to quit hanging around with folks with larger boats. This could get expensive quickly.

Rich and his family arriving -
