What is the size, pitch and number of blades on the prop you have?

What is the Max RPM at Wide Open Throttle??

I was asking what the max RPM is that you reach at WOT. All Mercruiser engines have a max RPM range of 4400 - 4800. The question is, are you reaching that range or not? That is the first step in determining how to properly prop the engine.

You can use the Mercury prop calculator as well, though I wouldn't recommend blindly buying a prop without getting a baseline for your boat (based on load) first.
