My Girlfriend took this picture especially for Dan, By the way this is with 8 people aboard going up river and full tanks. Still want to bet Bella won't do over 46MPH with just two up?

Some time ago I managed to find a boat test/review on the web on my exact boat with the same power package, complete with charts and graphs. Thought I'd include those here for reference as they may be useful to others trying to make educated guesses on how their own boat performs.

2001 model year 2900 SCR, single 6.2L EFI w/BIII outdrive, 4-6 people, half tank of gas, fully-loaded of our crap, 1-2 foot seas, 22 pitch props, 2,130 feet elevation, speeds measured by GPS:
2,100 RPM, 9 MPH (where we spend 95% of our time since gas is $4.30/gallon on the lake!);
4,000 RPM, 25 MPH;
5,000 RPM, 34 MPH (WOT---screamin' loud);
no clue on the gas burn... wish I knew (Floscan meter is a future project!)

1998 3700 SCR
Twin 7.4 Mercs & V-drives
1000 rpm = 5 mph
1400 rpm = 7 mph
1600 rpm = 8 mph
1800 rpm = 9 mph

I rarely go faster that 1800 so the following are from memory.

2000 rpm = 10 mph
2400 rpm = 11 mph
2800 rpm = 13 mph
3000 rpm = 16 mph
3200 rpm = 20 mph
3400 rpm = 24 mph
3600 rpm = 27 mph
4000 rpm = 29 mph
4400 rpm = 32 mph

Maxum 2100sc 1998 4.3L motor.
WOT 4900rpm-42mph. 4 blade prop 16 or 18 pitch-eyes are bad!. Two people, full gas and stuff. good hole shot. Gets on plane instantly. Loose a bit on top end, but I'm old and don't care. My wife thinks we are doing 80, so I am happy! Love my Scooter!
