Default Possible 1800xr purchase

Hey all,
Have the chance to buy a 1800xr. All original. I would be the second owner. It starts on a jump box. When it's jumped the motor runs and gauges seem to work . Here are the pics
They want $2500 with trailer. Anything to look out for? They have the paperwork/title.
What do you think? Not sure of the year yet,

Did you take it for a ride? Starting a motor vs running it under load are two completely different things. $2500 is a low price as the boat looks to be in good shape other than needs a good compounding to remove the oxide. Any soft spots in the deck? Even if it needs some work the price allows for it.

in the first and last pics, on the right rear corner, you can see the hull id number (HIN). When I zoomed in I could almost make it out, but the last 2 digits are the year. Of course the HIN should also be shown on the title and registration ... make sure the HINs on the papers match the boat, too

Agree with Mike, $2500 for a running boat that looks to have been cared for with a trailer is a low price. Assuming no major needs you could clean up the oxidation, detail the interior, add a new battery and probably come close to doubling your money on resale.
