Well just going to pass along aour last weekend- We own a lot and dock on Lake Chelan which is in Eastern WA. Its the 3rd deepest lake in N. America and 55 miles long.
If any of you get a chance to make it to the PNW its worth the drive to spend a day on the lake.
There isn't any roads or homes with power past the 25 mile mark but there are boat only camp sites and docks every few miles going up lake.
We got on the boat about 2 pm Friday, the lake was glass calm, pick up a friend, his wife and boat were already docked some where up lake and took off to find them and enjoy the weather. (hot)
He has a 23 Bayliner, looked over my sholder and asked if the engine was really doing 6000 RPM- Nope that's the speedo we are doing 60. Meet up with his wife about 40 miles up lake, opened the cooler, got out the fish gear just spent the next 2 days fishing, drinking, eating and just relaxing!
What great weekend - hope all of your was just as great!
Off to the San Juans this weekend in the big boat- Life is better with a boat
