Default Parts/Supplies Sources

Hi all, our recently acquired 21ft Maxum was missing any kind of top for shade. I'm wondering if any of the more experienced diy-ers have suggestions on best online sources for affordable quality parts for our floating money pits?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Mark

Thanks, any experience with whosale marine or shipwreck Marine?

I'm looking for a Bimini top and have found one hand made locally for $800-ish, and one at wholesale marine for less than $300 but requires self (gulp) install.

No expierence with them but the local shop will fit Bimini to you boat while the on line is universal and may to fit as well plus as you said you’ll need to install it and all mounting hardware.

Thanks all for the replies... Was guessing that would be what I heard but was hoping for encouraging words of how easy the installation would be lol. 500-ish seems steep for labor

$500 is high if that’s all labour...should be around $350-400 what I was quoted and I’m on the expensive side of the line just above you...

I was quoted 780 installed, basing the labor on finding a top online for 250 or so... Do you suppose it would be a tuff install for a crusty novice mechanic?

Do you have the bimini frame already, or is the quote for the hardware as well?

$750 doesn't sound outrageous for a Bimini top.

I don't, I only have a partial (missing parts and fasteners) low profile cover... And my old decrepit body's not crawling under that lol. I found a Bimini top @ wholesale marine for less than $300 but I would have to install it, and now that you've asked I'm not sure if that included mounting hardware

So after doing a few casual searches around the internet I ran across this (following above advice on places to shop): https://jet.com/product/3-Bow-Bimini...rigination=PLP

Too good to be true?

I cannot speak to this product but last year I bought a replacement pump for my head from them at a good price.
