Default Owners Manuals

Boats are not like automobiles, appliances or small engines and machines. Boats do ship with an owners manual, however, the information is very generic. The manufacturer builds the hull and deck and then installs 3rd party equipment. Such as:

Windshields: Taylor
Posts and Tables: Todd Industries
Cleats: Perko
Navigation Lights: Perko
Head: Jabsco or Johnson
Faucets: Whale
Engine: Mercruiser
Outdrive: Mercruiser
Bilge Pumps: variety (Rule, Johnson, Jabsco, Whale. Attwood)
A/C: Marine Airr
Fridge: Norcold
Guages: Faria
Stereo: JVC

Each of the 3rd party items comes with its own manual.

The engine and outdrive maintenance information is found in the service manuals and would need to be purchased separately. Maintenance and service information is not found in the boat owners manual.

We do have a section with a number of manuals available on this site:

Maxum Customer Care

Canvas: There is no longer OEM canvas available. Canvas is not an 'off-the-the-shelf' item. This is custom and can be done by any local marine canvas shop.

Upholstery: There is no longer OEM canvas available. Canvas is not an 'off-the-the-shelf' item. This is custom and can be done by any local marine canvas shop.

Every time I have tried to get any info of the maxumcustomercare website, the pages don't exist. Try the 2003 maxum 2100SR link.
