Default Odd hole near engine mount 1900 SR3

I have this 1900 SR3 that had a replacement 5.0 mounted in it several years ago after the 4.3 was removed. Under the engine mount I noticed a small hole, sometimes it leaks out this brownish stuff, not a ton, but its there. I can wipe it off.

Could this have been drilled when the 5.0 was put in for something to do with the engine mount?

I also noticed a smaller hole in the fiber glass in the same area, opposite side right at the bottom where the wall goes up to the engine mount that have leaked a similar stuff. It's very tiny.

Unfortunately I wiped off the stuff prior to taking the photo

There is a wood core inside the glassed over motor mount. I’ve never seen a hole here on any boats. Brown liquid would be water with wood rot. You should investigate to see if the rot is serious and in need of repair.
