Default Not starting.

went on boat started right up shut it off then about 5 minuets later it would not start. Gauges would not move, no noise when i turned key but depth finder and radio worked. 12 volts in both batteries.

How and what you guys would recommend for me to trouble shoot. thanks

Check engine breaker to see if tripped. Check ignition fuse which is either 15 or 20 amp in the fuse panel under the helm. Verify shifter is in neutral.

Default Fuse

It was the fuse it does not sit thight in the fuse panel

Maxum used rather cheap fuse panels. You may want to consider replacing it with a nice Blue Seas one.

The OP isolated the issue to a loose fuse. The safety kill switch would only remove power from the ignition system and still allow the engine to crank and have power to the gauges.
