not a good month.. ugggg
July 4th, I fell off boat while docking, cut my foot on the piling(barnacles). Twisted my ankle launching the boat yesterday, and last night hit something with my prop. Ugggg my weekend is done, think I'll just
sit under a shade tree and have a Bud Lite or two....

I think your problem is the bud lite. Try something not on the discount rack and see if your luck improves!

Todd, why are you drinking that beer flavored water? Do yourself a favor and load up the cooler with some Fat Tire or Shiner Bock. If you are not into the full flavor brew, how about a nice Sam Adams Summer Brew or Blue Moon? That water stuff just gives you a headache and makes you have to go all the time

I 'll give Sam Adams a try, Never heard of the others. We have a microbrewery over at Solomonds Island that has good beer, I just don't go over there that much.

I've never had any alcohol on my boat, hardest stuff are juice boxes.
The Coastguard, bay Constable, county cops are on the hunt for BWI - boating while intoxicated.
for something that moves 25 mph, you would think it would be simple, but It takes all my sober brain capabilities to keep it in the channel and on plane.

Yeah, they are out in force most weekends here in VA too. I try and only take a couple with me. That way I have no choice but to stay sober as I just don't have that many to drink. If it is just me drinking them, I generally only take 2-3 at most. If there are others with me that will drink, just 2-3 for me and then whatever they think they will drink.

I'm not a beer drinker usually, except for when I'm on the boat and then I have 2 or 3 through the course of the day. I just can't bring myself to drink anything Bud. Or Old Mil, Schlitz, etc-etc. Wife wicked up some Raging Bi!ch (yes, really) that wasn't bad at all.
Glad you got another prop on the boat Todd. MC, not sure where in Va you boat. We boat on the Potomac, which is technically MD waters, and we never see any sign of law enforcement except when we go North, cross under the WW Bridge, and end up in DC waters. Those guys are always out.

I am on Lake Anna and there were 2 Sheriff's boats out and about last weekend. I saw them pull over about 6 people just on Saturday (just what I noticed driving about). They came by me once and waved Hi to me (I of course waved back nicely). I guess I looked OK to them as they just kept on going. I did have 8 on board at the time though 4 were kids. We were also in the process of kneeboarding with a person in the water with rope and board.
They have a keen eye for Jetskis and obvious troublemakers, that is for sure.

DNR is almost always out here, one day I was at Sea Breeze (Local bar on the water front) They were stoping every boat going in and out, they evin put a couple officers on shore checking out boats that just pulled out of the water. I was dong some night fishing a few weeks ago and they were checking out boats that night also. Always careful on how much I drink on the water.
