Cool No ignition power?!?!?

Hey guys,
Just purchased a 1998 maxum 1900 spl. I'm not getting any power to the ignition, or even fuse block for that matter. Couldn't find the wiring diagram for anything 1998. Probably something simple maybe not... I'm not an experienced boater but ok at best mechanic. I've checked all the fuses... one of the manuals for a 96 shows the power going straight to a float valve, not sure what that is, I can't find it. Please help if you can... oh and there is power to the trim. Thanks

Welcome aboard

So cranks but no fire, is the safety switch in the run position? Red toggle on lower helm throttle.

Should been more specific. No power to the ignition where the key is, no power to fuse block under dash. It hasn't even turned over, since I had it, bought it from family and it ran fine before. , no power to dash. I have power down to starter, then there is a jumper to some sort of relay on the block. The power wire from there that goes to the fuse block under dash has no power. I wish I knew more about this thing to give better description.

Ok, after cleaning a few wire connections we're all good. I guess I went into panic mode to soon. Lol. But I'm sure I'll be back before I get er on the water. Thanks

Glad you figured it out quickly.

Under Documents you can find the engine manual which will be helpful in the future.
