Default Next Rebuild

Scored this complete 7.4L for $500! Possibly had a cracked manifold and likely got water in it and bent a valve or something. I’ll rebuild the bottom end and swap it with the original port engine that’s still in my boat this winter.

The HE and other bolt ones are worth that money.

Speedy, is this the one that was on craigslist here in Chesapeake?
How much of it are you going through before installing it? Maybe get an oil analysis?
There are some 7.4 manifolds and risers for sale on CL now. They are wet joint and look pristine.

This was eastern shore, Maryland. All four pistons on that side are trash. She’s getting a full rebuild.
