Default new upholstery budget

I'm curious if anyone here has done the cabin upholstery and what it had cost. I have a quote right now at $2200 with an additional $600 if I get all new foam at that time. I have no idea if that's good, bad or average...

Canvas Plus makes the vinyl seat skins from the factory templates. It’s worth checking with them on the interior, too. I’m convinced Them and Leta’s are the same company- one has the canvas tops and the other the upholstery. They can’t be beaten for prices compared to having a local seamstress make everything from scratch...

that's really good to know because I think Canvas plus is local to me sorta. Leta's I'm not sure about.

Could you clarify the scope of work? Are you talking headliner? Seats? What does the quote entail?

no mine doesn't get into the headliner yet at this price, but I do plan to redo that as well. this is just for all the interior seats/cushions in the cabin. includes new foam and upholstery

They’re both in Arlington, WA, I think.

Here's another quote from a local guy. I expected he would be much lower priced, he's about an hour inland and I have seen his auto work, it was very clean and affordable.

Quote:
Hey Dustin; It looks like you would be into anywhere from $1000.00 to $2000.00 for all the cushions. Material costs can vary greatly so, it hard to be accurate.Time wise you can expect at least $200.00 per cushion and maybe a little more for the large one. Maybe a little less for the small one. After that materials will make the difference in the total cost.
I think I'll try to use him for the upholstery
